In 2006, Sister Bertha Ann retired from full-time ministry and joined the community of sisters living at Nazareth Court and Center. She enrolled at St. Catherine College, St. Paul, Minnesota, during the academic year 1982-83 and received a certificate in pastoral ministry at the completion of the program.
